Picking A Good Pair of Jeans

Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

Do you want a good pair of jeans that is not only great for weekend attire, but for casual work wear as well? It is possible with trouser-styled jeans that come with a wide waistband and a flat front. Victoria’s Secret and Express pants carry this kind of styling that slip on your waistline naturally. Choose an appropriate belt and wear these jeans instead of your regular work trousers. Wear an attractive blouse, throw in some accessories, and you are properly dressed for casual office work.

For ladies with a lot of curves, and who wants to escape the drab look, don’t forget to pick a boot cut styling. Also choose dark tones. Avoid light washed or faded jeans, always go for dark colors as they always look stylish and will always make you appear slimmer. Don’t go for low rise. Instead, opt for mid-rise that offer some stretch.

For women with flat rear ends but want to have a sexy look, select jeans that naturally falls on the waist. You will want to stay clear of jeans that protrude outwards. And don’t forget to conceal your love handles.

Looking great in those jeans is just like buying womens shorts, it is a matter of looking for the right jeans style that can enhance and go well with your particular body shape.

How to give your style an overhaul

We can all get stuck in a rut and struggle to find outfits that make us feel confident. Luckily, there are various tricks you can use to help yourself get the wow factor.
First up is working out which are the right colours for you. Your hair colour and skin tone really determine what colours suit you. Get it right and your clothes can look great on you but get it wrong and the clothes can end up ‘wearing you’  - often you will look washed out or even ill. Matching the right colours is easier if you know that suits you as the colours in the palette will be complementary to each other. A great start!
Then you need to consider the styles that a right for you. Just because something is in fashion it doesn’t mean you can wear it. Not even a supermodel can look great in everything. So knowing your body shape and the right cuts will enable you to chose clothes that will really flatter you. There are numerous tricks to learn in this area. You could choose to employ a personal stylist in london or another big city or buy a book on the subject. One of the tips for example would be to wear light colours on the bottom if you have broader shoulders and thinner legs. If you are concerned about your weight then consider vertical stripes and never wear horizontal stripes. These are just a couple of examples that show that there is a real skill to this and it’s worth investing time and money to get it right.
You also need to work out your style personality – so you reflect your true self. For example are you a romantic type? Maybe sporty? Or perhaps seeking a dramatic look?
Finally, think about your day-to-day life. If you work outdoors then delicate clothes aren’t going to work for you. Or if you are a mum then you need to think about the various spills you will encounter on an average day.
One short cut to this would be to find a personal shopper who can advise you and take you to the shops that will help you find the outfit that really work for you.
